Kitchen Radio

I did this painting for my mothers 61st birthday. It's a painting of her radio in the old kitchen. She moved over a year ago. She would spend a lot of time cooking and baking tasty treats, whilst blasting out the Archers and Gardeners Question Time.

Our old kitchen had fantastic bright orange tiles from the 1970s era. I think they either came from the now collectable Hornsea Pottery, or Habitat. Hope the people who moved in didn't rip them out!
